Jars Of Clay are an alternative rock band who's high quality acoustic rock music has brought them high success in the secular music scene.
They all got together at Greenville College in Illinois, and due to a class in studio recording they discovered their great artistry. In 1993 the band went to a battle of the bands talent search and won.
The band had many offers from record labels and signed for Silverstone/Essential Records in 1994.
Since then Jars Of Clay have released two high selling albums and reciently have won a Grammy and a dove award.
